Synthetic Turf Maintenance and Repairs

General Acrylics began offering a synthetic turf maintenance program to field owners in Arizona in 2006. Designed to enhance the performance and playability of synthetic turf surfaces these General Acrylics turf maintenance offerings use specially engineered SMG Turf maintenance equipment exclusively. The SMG Equipment is used by General Acrylics to remove dirt and debris from the surface and from the in-fill material, to lift the turf fiber, and de-compact the infill material to enhance resiliency and drainage capacity with the goal of keeping your synthetic surface in peak playing condition throughout its lifespan. The use of this specialized SMG equipment is recognized & accepted by nearly all turf manufacturers currently as it is recommended by the Synthetic Turf Council that synthetic turf maintenance should be a part of every synthetic field owner’s long term care program.

General Acrylics offers the following turf maintenance services:

• Seam and logo repair
• SMG TCA 1400 Routine Field cleaning with monthly or annual service available
• SMG-Sportchamp deep cleaning service with de-compaction; Annually, Semiannually or as requested
• SMG-Sandmatic top off; adding a lift of infill rubber to replace in-fill material displaced over time by heavy use and play, improper maintenance or climatic conditions
• SMG Rototine and SMG Renomatic Dirt and Sand removal
• Vandalism repairs
• Third Party G Max testing
• Field evaluations and in-fill depth measurements
